Great News! February 20th-21st, IntoSalsa teams up with Media Latina to present Andy "Lyrik" Cruz & Kimberly Rivera Midwest Tour in Indianapolis. Special performance by Chicago and NYC's finest, Andy and Kimberly on Saturday, February 20th at El Meson. $8 cover. IntoSalsa Students FREE til 10pm. Andy “Lyrik” Cruz has taken the world of Dance by storm. At the age of 17, he followed his vision and founded “Los Jóvenes Del Swing Dance Company” which is now an international touring company and have made appearances throughout Florida, Illinois, Indiana, New York, Texas, Puerto Rico and Mexico. Cruz has collaborated and has choreographed for Latin artists such as Oscar D'Leon, Michael Stuart, Brenda K. Starr, Fulanito, and Hip Hop artist, Common. Through his passion and dedication, Cruz has become one of the most complete and decorated Latin dancers in the U.S.

At the age of 12, Kimberly Rivera began her salsa training with David Melendez at The Starlite Dance Studio in NYC, where she competed and won many titles in different events. In 2006, she started training under the incomparable, The King of Mambo Eddie Torres. In months Kimberly was asked to join the world famous Eddie Torres Dancers and soon became one of his principal partners, touring internationally. Kimberly's style is like no other in the business mixing the rhythm of mambo with the rhythm of soul. Her style is best described by these three words: SOULFUL, ELEGANT & AGGRESSIVE.

Viva Salsa Saturday Night

Special performance by Chicago and NYC's finest, Andy and Kimberly on Saturday, February 20th at El Meson. Hosted by IntoSalsa and The VIP Crew, three of the best Latin DJ's in Indy will play the hottest Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and Reggaeton from 9pm-3am. $8 Cover. IntoSalsa students FREE before 10pm. 21 and over. Classy salseros and salseras, come dressed to impress! You'll get to meet and dance with Andy & Kimberly. El Meson is located at 8920 Wesleyan Rd.

Sunday, February 21st 2pm-3:30pm Salsa Footwork & Partnerwork This 90 min workshop focuses 30 min of Salsa footwork and styling, and 60 min of partner work. Intermediate dancers only. 4pm-5:30pm Bachata Footwork & Partnerwork This 90 min workshop focuses 30 min of Bachata footwork and styling, and 60 min of partner work. All levels are welcome.
