Sanjay Manglam

Just before I started dancing Salsa, I had been dancing ballroom for about 6-7 months. Considering ballroom, there were only few places that offered social ballroom events. Amongst them, Vault/Club Level, on every Saturday night used to be one of them. They used to play Swing, Cha Cha & Hustle for couple of hours, and after that they would play Salsa, Meregue, and Bachata for the rest of the night. Yang and Erin had a free Salsa lesson just before they would start the latin party and that’s where my Salsa journey began. At first, looking at all the sexy and complicated moves in Salsa, I was not sure if I would ever be able to do it. That’s when I started going to Intosalsa studio for the lessons and haven’t stopped since then. Since I have started dancing Salsa, it has been really fun. I had the opportunity to meet some really wonderful people. I really enjoy the humor that Yang, Erin, and Nikki brings into their teaching. Dancing Salsa is a great exercise and stress reliever.
