Chris Carter

Ever since I was small I've had a love for dancing. One of my earliest memories was of watching Michael Jackson's Bad video which my mother turned off half-way through saying I didn't need to be seeing that. Perhaps it could be the fact that it was forbidden, but ever since then music and dancing have never ceased to bring me joy. While at Indiana University I took advantage of dancing opportunities like jazz and hip-hop and enjoyed going out dancing. I even got a little taste of salsa from friends who had spent time in Argentina, one of whom, upon my graduation and relocation to Indy, suggested that I take classes with Yang and Erin. It was rough going at first, but everyone in Indy is very supportive of those new salseros and salseras willing to give it a shot. Thank you to Yang and Erin for helping to create such a vibrant salsa scene and thank you to all the wonderful people/dancers that make it possible.
