Chad Eaton
I was first introduced to Salsa when my friends Rob and Chrissy (former Salsera and Salsero of the week) took me to one of the Red Room parties in January '07. At first, I didn't have much interest in learning. This was simply because learning the intricate moves and Latin body movement seemed out of reach for me. It wasn't until the next time that Rob and Chrissy took me to one of the Red Room parties that I saw Tiffany Robinson dancing. I decided then that I wanted to be able to dance with someone who moves like that. I immediately started taking classes and haven't stopped since. None of it came easy, especially learning to hear the beat (I still think that every Salsa song should have a loud cowbell in it). But after many hours in class, practicing in my kitchen, and dancing at the clubs, I now feel like I am actually ‘dancing' out there on the floor. I certainly want to thank Yang, Erin , and Karina for all they have taught me. Salsa has truly changed my life.
