Andrea Vacca
Hello indysalsa!
It's my pleasure write a few things about me and my salsa passion here.
I began dancing salsa in 1998, just to try something
different from swimming and bikes, but in a few months I realised that salsa
was great to me.
So dancing became my best hobby, I attended classes with great international
teachers such as Fernando Sosa, Alberto Valdes,
Johnny Vasquez, Rafael Gonzales, Maykel Fonts. But I'm still devoted to the
teachers that first injected enthusiasm for salsa into me: Max Gueye,
Fabrizio Venturi and Monica Allodi, to practice different styles of salsa
(rueda de casino, puertorican and cuban salsa, rumba).
I have been collaborating with many salsa clubs for many years: Onda Latina,
Salsabor and Chicolatino are the main salsa gangs I danced with.
I performed many times in official events and I participated several salsa
competitions. Rueda de Casino is my favorite style. In 2006 with my Rueda de
Casino group, I was 4th in Int. Roma Salsa Congress' competition.
With my wonderful partner I danced with the 5 time Italian championships in
latin dance Fabrizio and Monica in several clubs of northern Italy!
Recently I have got a diploma in caraibic dances, and I teach salsa in two
schools in Italy (in Parma, where I live).
Dancing salsa means to me happiness and passion, and I try to convey these
emotions every time I dance, with everybody and everywhere (also here at
Indy!) because I like the latin social aspects.
Ahìnamà!
