Hola, mi gente! My name is Nadia and I moved to Indy last August. Born in Venezuela, and raised in Nicaragua, I guess I've been dancing ever since I could move. I've taken dance lessons in Caracas, Managua, Montreal and now Indy. As a newbie to both the city and its salsa scene, I was worried that I wouldn't find salseros and salseras who shared my love for Latin rhythms. I couldn't have been more wrong!
I was lucky enough to have found Intosalsa within weeks of moving. Thanks to Yang and Erin for making my move easier to handle; and for introducing me to Brooke, who in turn, got me involved with the world and art of Salsa Belly Dance. You might not see me dancing the night away at El Meson or The Red Room every week but you will surely find me at every Intosalsa Sunday Social! If you do see me, please stop and say HI, I'd like to keep on meeting the big InstoSalsa family!!!
