Lisa Padilla

I am a Mexican-American born in Indiana and have been dancing since high school. I have been dancing salsa for 4 years. I became interested in salsa one Thursday night at the Jazz Kitchen, and I immediately felt the music enter my heart, body, and soul and realized that I finally found myself. I took dance lessons from "T" of the Red Brick Dance Studio then eventually from Yang & Erin. I live an hour and 20 minutes away, therefore it is difficult for me to take lessons & come to the clubs consistantly. But I come as often as I can. Salsa has become one of my loves in life. It is a priority, and I have to have it - "my fix."

I do want to thank ALL my dance partners who practice with me and teach me moves that I have missed during lessons and who challenge me on the dance floor. It is a "high" that I cannot get anywhere else. My goal is to improve my dancing in my styling & spins and to be the best that I can be. I love being creative & sensual with my dancing. The sexier the better for me. I also do some hip-hop dancing in my home town of Marion and Mexican dancing in Ft Wayne and at family functions.
