Jennifer Hughes

Music has always been a part of me from a very early age. I have always had music at my fingertips, literally. The first time I touched my piano I was three and have taken lessons on an off ever since studying classical, jazz and modern rock and many styles in between.

As a lover of music from Blues, Detroit House, Hip-Hop, Afro-Cuban Jazz, Drum and Bass, Big Band, Classical and Reggae, Salsa undoubtedly found a place in my soul. I instantaneously had an appreciation for its rhythms and energy it brought out in me.

After a couple of turns at the Jazz Kitchen one night, like many of us, I immediately sought out to learn more. There is a pure sparkle from everyone on the dance floor that I had to be a part of. The positive atmosphere keeps me coming back to learn more along with the new friends I continue to make. Dancing is a great way to enrich life and I look forward to every spin and turn I take.

See you there!
