Hola Mi Gente! I'm a Dominican-American girl who grew up dancing bachata and merengue. I never had a big interest in salsa until spring on 2007 when I randomly went to a lesson with some friends. Everyone noticed that I had a natural ability for salsa and soon after that I began assisting at Indy Salsa. I became so addicted to salsa! I practiced everyday, entered competitions and even teached at Marian College, where I attend. I took a 6 month hiatus from the Indianapolis Salsa scene when I moved to the Dominican Republic to study. I joined an On 2 Salsa group there and fell more deeply in love! Salsa is definitely a big part of my life and I love to share my passion with everyone that I meet.
I feel the music in my bones. I can taste it on my skin. The rhythm overwhelms my body. Soy una salsera hasta el fin.
