Daisy Velez

Hello to all the passionate salsa dancers of Indy! My name is Daisy and I'm 100% Boricua. Dancing has been my passion ever since I was a little girl, and I've been involved in dancing groups and activities for as long as I can remember. I moved to Indy a year ago to continue studying my BA degree in Theatre Arts, and the first club I remember going to was The Kameleon Club. I was surprised when I saw there were many different ways of dancing salsa, and kind of embarrased that I only knew the basic moves; that's why I decided to enroll in Salsa lessons at the Mavris. I've improved, but I'm sure I've got a long way to go! I'll keep dancing 'till my feet can move no longer, because dancing is what keeps me alive! And fit, of course!!!
