June Schedule

Ready for a new hobby this summer? We're offering a Beginner Salsa class from 6-7pm on Thursdays at IntoSalsa Latin Dance Studio in downtown. This class is for anyone who is new to Salsa. You will learn the basic steps of Salsa, simple patterns, and dancing to the music. Discover the joy of Salsa dancing! All ages are welcome. No dance partner required. $40 for 4 weeks starting June 6th. $10 discount for college students with valid IDs.

We'll continue the Nightclub Bachata class at IntoSalsa Latin Dance Studio in June. Bachata is a sexy dance from the Dominican Republic. This class is for all levels. We'll teach you Dominican style bachata footwork, turn patterns, and fun moves. No partner required. $40 for 4 weeks. Half price for Ladies ($20 for 4 weeks). $10 discount for men if you currently take another class from IntoSalsa. Every Thursday from 7-8pm starting June 6th.

Private Lessons



We're now offering Ballroom and Swing dance lessons. Our introduction package is 3 for $30 (new students only), which includes two 30 minute private lessons and a party. It's also available to any IntoSalsa students who have never taken private lessons. Our experienced instructors will teach dances including Salsa, Bachata, Ballroom, Swing, Hustle, Tango, and more. Class Fees

Group lessons
Beginner through Advanced Classes - $40/person for a month. Walk-ins are $12/person.
Performance Classes - $50/person for a month. No walk-ins.
Each session is 55 minutes long. Please sign up at beginning of the month.

Private lessons
$70/lesson for 1 person or a couple.

Private group lessons
The costs for private group lessons depend on the size of the group, the level of instruction required, and the length of the instruction. Contact us to schedule a private group lesson.

FAQ

How long will it take me to learn how to dance?
This depends on how well you pick up new information, and especially how much you practice in between classes. The more you go out, the more you listen to the music, the closer you are to becoming a better dancer.

Do I need a dance partner?
No. However, having a dance partner would help you to learn the steps and moves, and practice after the classes.

What if I miss a class?
We strongly encourage you not to miss any of the four classes that make up your session. If you have to miss a class, we encourage you to attend another class of the same level during the week the class was missed. Prior to this make-up class, you must notify your instructor, in order to determine make-up class availability. Make-ups are only allowed during the week missed. If the make-up class is not available, you can schedule a private lesson or mini private lesson to catch up.

Can I join the classes after the session has begun?
If you've missed the first session of the month, you can still join the class. If you'd like to join after missing the first 2 sessions, we require that you take a private lesson to catch you up and not hold back the group.

Why take private lessons?
- You're a busy professional, and you can't make time for the group lessons.
- You have a lot of questions and feel you need extra attention.
- You take dancing and fun very seriously.
- 1 private lesson equals 2~3 group lessons, so it's up to you how fast you want to learn.

What method of payment do you take?
We accept cash or check (made payable to "IntoSalsa, Inc. ").

Is there parking?
There're many street parkings on Illinois and Vermont St. They're free on the weekends, and after 6pm during the week.

What should I wear to the classes?
Preferably comfortable clothing. Wear shoes that don't have rubber soles (leather, suede, or dance sneakers are the best).

Studio Policy

Registration
All classes require pre-registration 7 days prior to starting date and an 8 people minimum. Payments are due before the first day of class (except walk-ins). All paid student registrations are considered final.

Refunds/Credits Policy
IntoSalsa Latin Dance Studio reserves the right to cancel any class with insufficient enrollment, up until the first day of class. In the event a class is cancelled, you will have the option to request a full refund or receive a credit (in the amount paid), to be applied towards another class.

Returned Checks
There's a $15 fee for all returned checks.

Group Class Make Up Policy
We strongly encourage you not to miss any of the four classes that make up your session. You’re paying for four classes, so it’s financially worthwhile for you not to miss. In the case that you have to miss a class, we encourage you to attend another class of the same level during the week the class was missed. Prior to this make-up class, you must notify your instructor, in order to determine make-up class availability. Make-ups are only allowed during the week missed. If the make-up class is not available, you can schedule a private lesson or mini private lesson to catch up.

Private Lesson Cancellation Policy
If you make an appointment for a private lesson, please try your best to keep it. In the event that you have to miss your lesson, please give us a 24 hour notice. A $25 cancellation fee will be charged if you fail to notify your instructor 24 hours before your appointment.

By enrolling in IntoSalsa Latin Dance Studio, you agree that IntoSalsa Latin Dance Studio is NOT responsible for any accidental injury or loss of property.
